Hello Xangans,
It's been quite sometime where I've written a blog that contains substance and a further peek into my life. So here goes...I'm going to blog out, what seems to be more important than my daily rantings about how the people in my life suck.
High school ended almost a year ago. Time comes and goes unbelievably fast. As my first year of college is flying by, I've learned a great deal not only about myself, but also people I call my friends. My friend, Kevin, recently gave me a really encouraging talk. I'm not too used to getting advice, encouragement, or even appreciated for who I am, so it was a nice change. I always "knew" what it meant to find new friends who had something in common with me, a similar drive, passion, common interest, etc, however, I never fully "understood" what it meant... until now. Up until this point in my life, I've been acquainted to many people and friends with very few people. Some of my older subscribers would know, I always ALWAYS hung out with Sophie and Jenny. I changed since college had started. My expectations in people seem to have drastically changed as well. It is now, that I realize, I have almost nothing in common with my two girls anymore. What's a girl to do? I have a few options: 1) find new friends. 2)keep my girls, but separate myself from them and give them time to find their own new standards. 3)continue to sit about and complain about my life. I'm going to figure out what to do with that soon, I guess. I simply cannot stand laziness, excuses, and no drive to become better. I've accepted it from people before, but no longer. I guess I'll put my girls on back burner for now.
2010 holds many adventures and new friends for me. I can feel it. I've got many performances (and potential for other performances) awaiting me. Lots of places to visit, food to eat, homework to get done, more jobs to seek out, I've got quite a busy year ahead of me. So, Xangans, I hope you enjoy my new technique in blogging. You'll still be getting my occasional bitchings and rants, but hey...some people like that.
